Problem

We once received a challenging assignment to ship a temperature sensitive consignment from India to Bolivia. The task was daunting as the consignment had to be maintained at the specified temperature range throughout the transit.

We developed special packaging material which made sure that the product could be stabilized at the desired temperature range for a prolonged duration. Airline routes were reviewed in detail and we assigned transit agents, wherever applicable, to ensure that the cool chain is maintained.

The product was shipped via Amsterdam, from where it was sent to Lima, Peru. Our transit agent, in coordination with airline and the airport staff, ensured that the cool chain was maintained. The product was finally shipped to its destination - La Paz. It reached as planned and was shifted to cold storage immediately in the customs area of El Alto International Airport.
