A customer in Caribbean was looking for N-acetyl cysteine in sachets, injection, syrup and tablet form. He tried to obtain products from many manufacturers and suppliers, but it was not available with any of them nor they were ready to develop the product due to high development cost and expected low commercial orders.
USL decided to take this task as a challenge and all these 4 products were developed by USL. Then, the technology was transferred to scale up to the commercial quantity to four different manufacturing sites within the country. It was easy for us to co-ordinate and manage as we speak the same language and follow the same time zone. Today, the customer has 4 different presentations under one brand name.
